· Responsibilities include managing and being the focal point for E&I QA/QC issues on the project, interfacing with contractors and subcontractors to ensure E&I QA/QC requirements are delivered for the project;

· Develop and maintain quality E&I procedures, E&I Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and work instructions, and provide training to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and achieved;

· Participate in Vendor and Contractor qualification process;

· Electrical & Instrumentation installation inspection witness, hold points and surveillance including with material receiving inspection;

· Monitor all quality control construction activities and listing status and records on the data base referencing the appropriate ITP and certification so that quality control status can be continually monitored as work progresses;

· Insure that all quality records in an orderly manner for insuring their traceability;

· Verify the contractor responsible in the area for Electrical & Instrumentation construction activities has approved procedure describing the administrative controls and work processes to be implemented;

· Issue Surveillance Report & Non Conformance Reports to the contractor in the event of site deficiency;

· Monitor and define quality problem areas and propose corrective actions to the Project Quality Management Team;

· Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive actions;

· QA/QC of Electrical & instrumentation including termination, testing and tubing;

· Calibration of instruments, control valve set leakage test, relief valve popping test and loop checking;

· Inspection of electrical, instrument installation work on the Project ; producing and verification of single line diagrams and instrument control circuits; verification of drawing and technical documents of vendors; coordination of activities between vendors and designing institutes on the Project; to consult contractor personnel about correct and safe way to implement E&I works; following up construction and pre-commissioning checklists.
